Logan's Battle with Perthes

My good friend Shannon Beach has a beautiful family with her partner Derek Strebe. Their youngest of three (Logan) has been diagnosed with Perthes Disease.  For more information regarding this rare childhood disease, please click here.
Logan is a very active 6 year old.  Despite the pain she has been dealing with, she refuses to let it slow her down and continues to play like any 6 year old should be able to.  However, she is now preparing for her first big step in her journey to overcome this disease.  She will be getting both legs casted and will require the use of a wheelchair.  This means that her parents will have to make some changes to their home to allow for accessibility.  They will be building a ramp into their home that is expected to cost just under $2000. 
Along with the costs of these home additions, there will be (and already have been) frequent trips to the city for Logan to see an orthopaedic specialist at CHEO. 
I am asking for your support in helping alleviate some of the financial burden this journey will cause this family so that they can focus on Logan and her medical needs.
