Logan's 2021 Dodger's Scout Team Season

Hello everyone. My Name Is Logan O'Leary. I have been playing organized baseball since I was 4 years old, and I have been working extremely hard to better my skills and abilities. I am currently an 18 years old high school student and have been given an incredible opportunity. I have been asked to be a starting pitcher for the East Coast Dodgers Scout Team, a new organization that has direct ties to the Los Angeles Dodgers. All of the coaching staff are current scouts in the Dodgers system.
This summer travel season starts at the beginning of June and will take me from my home state of Florida to Boston, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, then will end at the beginning of August with an event in North Carolina. At every event along the way there will be numerous scouts and coaches from a variety of college and professional teams and institutions. While my ultimate goal is to be drafted into the MLB at some point, I am very hopeful and excited to receive scholarship offers and opportunities from colleges and universities.
In order to participate in this program, my family and I will incur a financial obligation of approximately $3,000.00. This will include team fees, travel and lodging, and food expenses for me. While my parents have already started paying for some of these expenses, I am hoping any generosity you can provide will help alleviate some of what will be a large expense.
If you are able to assist me and contribute any funds, please do so as quickly as you feel possible. My first event will take place in West Palm Beach, Florida starting June 8, 2021 and will run through June 12, 2021. I am so grateful for this opportunity that has been given to me, and I will be equally as grateful to you for any assistance you can provide.
Should we be able to bring this undertaking to fruition and it leads to the hoped-for successful outcome to my efforts thus far, I will know that your support for me will have been every bit as beneficial to my success as my hard work and dedication over the past 14 years.
