Logan Blake's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Logan Blake (Anna's son) was in a near-fatal car accident on Sunday, Oct 2nd. A wrong-way drunk driver struck him head-on on I-5. The family is thankful and blessed Logan survived but he will have a long road to recovery. The police and doctors did not think he would survive. A Chaplin came in and prayed over Logan with his family.
Prayers were answered; Logan is out of ICU and still receiving care at the hospital.
Logan sustained many injuries. The seatbelt cut his stomach (the seatbelt did save his life), and he had to have emergency surgery and was placed on a breathing tube in the ICU. He suffered bleeding on the brain, a concussion, a fractured spine, and injuries to his knee and ankle.
By his side are his mother, Anna, his brother Kyle, and his grandmother, Penny.
Logan needs constant care when he is released to go home. Donations will allow Anna to stay home and care for Logan for the time required. She will be able to get Logan to appointments. Even with good insurance medical bills will start coming in.
Logan is a UPS driver, and his position with the company comes with the physical demand of driving and lifting packages. He will have a long road to recovery to be able to go back to work. Logan is exceeding all the doctor's and nurses' expectations of healing.
We will keep you updated on Logan's recovery. Please feel free to share this post.
Thank you, everyone, for your love, prayers, and support.
