Support for Logan Liddle

In June of 2017 Logan was initially diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (cancer that was attached to muscles in his abdomen). Logan underwent months of treatment including chemo, radiation, and other procedures.
On March 30, 2018 Logan was finally cancer free. After beating cancer he had another major surgery in May 2018 to repair damage caused by the tumor.
Unfortunately, at his third post treatment check up on December 31, 2018 he found out that the cancer was back. He was quickly scheduled for a high risk surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. The location of the tumor made it too risky to remove it all. Logan started weekly chemotherapy treatments on January 25, 2018. The treatments have been more difficult than the first go around.
During the week of March 18th, Logan had scans and consultations with a team of doctors at Mayo Clinics in Rochester, MN, but no conclusive information was set and Logan was to return on April 4th to hear what options they had for treating the cancer. On March 29, 2019 Logan was admitted to University of Iowa Children’s Hospital with digestive issues. On Wednesday, April 3rd Logan was transported by ambulance to Mayo- St. Mary’s. Logan along with his parents David and Justine have met with doctors to decide on the next plan of action. Logan is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9th, to have a high risk surgery to remove all of the tumor. This will be very invasive and may result in removing a section of his bladder and a part of the artery that leads to his left leg that will need to be grafted back together.
Logan is only 8 years old. He enjoys playing and watching sports, and playing on the farm with his sister Paisley (7) and his brothers Corbin (5) and Hayden (3).
We hope to raise money to assist the family with medical and travel expenses. Please continue to pray for Logan and his family as they fight to beat this cancer.
