Lolalisa D King's Memorial
Donation protected
Lolalisa DeCarlo King was an amazing woman. In her own words she was "an entrepreneur, a teacher, a minister, and a mom at any given moment." She wore as many hats as needed for whatever sitatutions were in her path. The first female and the first African-American female licensed Architect in the state of North Carolina, she broke through barriers in architecture and construction. Many will remember her loving spirit and bright smile that was like sunshine. This GoFundMe is to ensure that her memorial and all personal items are paid for and she is transported from Houston, Texas to Detroit, Michigan with her son. Along the path there will be a memorial also in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for anyone who cannot make the memorial in Houston. These funds will cover both memorials. If there are any remaining funds a scholarship will be named in her honor to a young African-American woman seeking a higher education degree. If you or your family can help, all donations will be accepted with a loving heart as this was completely unexpected for our family. Thank you in advance.
