Lolli Jacobson's Studio Fire Fund
Donation protected
Yesterday a fire caused major damage to the building housing Lolli Jacobson's Fort Bragg Fabric Studio. All contents of the studio, that is shared by three fabric aritsts, were destroyed by fire, smoke and water. The damage to the building is so severe that repairs could take over a year to complete. In the meantime Lolli and her studio mates, Jacob and Shawnee, need to locate and move to a new studio space. There should be some insurance for actual damages but moving and setting up a new shop will be expensive.
Lolli and her partners are good friends and talented artists. (And Lolli is my petanque partner). Let's do what we can to get them up and running again.
Update from Lolli: "Since I do have some insurance I really see two thirds of the Gofund money going to Jacob and Shawnee. I would like the people who donate to know that its not just for me-- that I will be sharing it with Jacob and Shawnee. Jacob and Shawnee are basically homeless-- they're staying with a friend in our apartment complex right now but only have the clothes on their back."
