Hi there!
I am Natasha Fleming (Sylvana’s sister) I am putting this together to help my sisters family Het husband Chad and their two boys Chase and Parker. This money will be used for bills, and groceries and whatever else they might need to get through this tough time. Sylvana is no longer able to work and is with Parker 24/7. Chad has been working as much as possible but unfortunately they never know when a hospital trip will occur. Everyone has been so kind so far. The meal train has been so great but sometimes they are in the hospital and unable to enjoy the dinner that evening. I hope this can help them. Their whole life is not like it was. They are trying to figure out their new normal and it’s tough.
Parker was diagnosed with leukemia June 4th and since then it has been a rollercoaster.
From Parker’s family,
First week of June:
So many emotions. So many questions. So many tears.
It started just at the end of may when we brought Parker into the doctor for back and hip pain. Within 2 hours we were already at the hospital and being admitted. After what seems like millions tests we have been given news that no parent ever wants to hear about their child.
Parker has been diagnosed with Leukemia type B-ALL.
Update June 21st:
Parker has a crazy weekend celebrating his mommy and daddy getting married! Chad and Sylvana decided to go through with the wedding with Parker’s doctors blessing! :) Parker danced the night away and had a great weekend!!
Please continue to pray for Parker and his family. It is gonna be a different kind of summer for them.
From Parker’s family :
Update chemo treatment number 4.
Parker has been very tired, extremely hungry from the steroids and definitely having some serious mood swings but over all he is still smiling. Today he didn’t have any procedures so it was nice we weren’t there for the entire day. His cheeks are getting chubby and we may go broke trying to feed this kid but that’s ok because he is extremely cute.
Meal train starts today and we are extremely grateful ❤️
update July 7th:
Update for our little Parker.
Tuesday He went in for a lumbar puncture and bone marrow procedure. We should find out Friday what his risk level is praying for standard low risk
On a Side note We ended up back at the hospital very early Wednesday because Parker was in pain.
It’s day 2 and He is extremely constipated and is still having a hard time.
Praying he gets through this with miralax and laxatives because the alternatives are much harder on him.
He’s such a brave little guy. This is all so hard on his little body. Hoping we can get out of here soon.
Just want this all to be over
Update August 1st 2022:
Parker Update-
Parker has had a tough month, back and forth to the hospital and being here for days at a time has not been easy.
We have come in on multiple occasions for fever, vomiting, dehydration and constipation which have all had a recurring
Left side pain.
Parker was finally able to have a cat-scan which showed he has a kidney stone.
Poor baby has been in so much pain and so miserable but I’m so glad we know what has been bothering him and keeping him up at night and we can finally treat it. He hasn’t been unable to eat or drink for Days now but they are keeping him comfortable now and doing there best to treat his nausea and pain so we can get him back on track .
So far they have given him medicine to try and help pass the stone
Little man has been through so much this last few weeks hoping he gets some relief soon so we can go home and keep him smiling.
As you can see their life has been a roller coaster and unfortunately no one’s getting off soon. They are hoping the hospital visits will ease up soon. Please if anything keep them in your prayers.
Much love,
Natasha
