Loma Rica Elementary Library

We are asking for your help in updating our school library. Although a small, rural school like ours has many benefits for our students and the community, unfortunately, we do not always get the financial resources needed to fund the type of library that our children deserve. If the students of Loma Rica Elementary are going to explore far off worlds and different times or meet historical figures through treehouse adventures, baseball card magic, or simply floating down the Mississippi on a raft with a friend, then we need to expand the choices available at the library in order for them to expand their minds and imaginations. Our school library has a paucity of books that can open our students' minds to the plethora of words and stories they need to reach their full scholastic potential.

So, instead of asking our students and their parents to participate in a product-selling fundraiser, we are taking a more direct approach. We are asking that you donate whatever money you can to our library. No matter how much or how little, it ALL makes a difference and will help us reach our goal of raising $1500. We know that $15 from each of our 100 students will meet our goal, but we also know that not everybody can afford $15. That's why we're asking you to donate what you can to this worthy cause. Your donation can send our students on an adventure with warrior cats, while they increase their word recognition, fluency and vocabulary without even knowing it!
