London Breed Memorial Tent Drive

In her final year of terror in San Francisco, London Breed remained steadfast in making unhoused people’s lives absolute hell. All while an overabundance of vacancies continue to sit empty in San Francisco every night.

Even before the Grants Pass ruling that now criminalizes unhoused people, London was truly ahead of her time. She comfortably sat in her city hall plantation, while getting SFPD, DPW, and Urban Alchemy to sweep the streets, throw away (or confiscate and sell) people’s tents, personal documents, medications, mobility devices, and valuables.

She may be out of office now, but that doesn’t mean we will ever stop.

These funds will be used to buy tents to give directly to our houseless neighbors this winter. Climate catastrophe is all around us and getting more intense, our houseless neighbors deserve to seek shelter by any means necessary without being terrorized.

Our support is based on the following ideas and principles:

- People must have the ability to self-direct their own care and services.

- Conservatorship kills. Cops terrorize people, they don't "offer help". ABOLISH SFPD.

- As much as possible: Supporting people with direct resources (housing, food, cash, etc.) is better than fake government-directed services or NPIC foolishness.

Last year GAY SHAME raised $6K to buy tents and tarps to give out to our houseless neighbors. but we are not a direct service provider, but we hope this can help our friends and neighbors survive.
