London Tree Marathon for Earth Day

Welcome to Isaac's "Treearathon" project fundraising page in aid of Earth Day 2024!

For this TCS London Marathon Isaac will be taking a different approach and will be educating about saving the planet and why trees are one of the solutions during his run.

During the run Isaac will sharing top tips for being more sustainable on a budget and will be distributing wildflower seeds to fellow runners and organisers of the London Marathon symbolising his dedication to environmental stewardship. It's a reminder that every action, no matter how small, contributes to a cleaner, greener world.

Isaac's run isn't a solo endeavour; it's a call to action. Fellow runners, spectators, and communities will be inspired to join in, bilding unity and collective effort towards a sustainable future. This record-breaking tree marathon isn't just about setting records. It's about making a difference. Isaac is running to raise awareness and funds for eco-adventures for underprivileged individuals, partnering with Climate Explorers CIC 's dedicated fund for environmental education.

Isaac will carbon offset using “Climate Games ” verified tree carbon offsets during the marathon and for his travel to and from the marathon. This has a connection to carbon dioxide levels and how his tree costume serves as a visual representation of a carbon sink or a way to reduce these CO2 levels for a sustainable planet.

People will be able to place donation bets on how much offset will be collected at the end of the run-through Climate Games.

Isaac is teaming up with eco-friendly brands, from recyclable vegan trainers and clothes from Hylo Athletics and recyclable plant-based socks from TekoForLife to recycled ocean plastic watches with Triwa. These partnerships embody our commitment to a sustainable future.
