Lonely Cowboy Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Lonely Cowboy Company was started to push the mental health conversation forward, with the help of tattoo artists across America. Our scholarships will be offered in schools chosen by the tattoo artists Lonely Cowboy collaborates with. $500 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors interested in mental health education. Our scholarships are offered to ALL seniors, regardless of post-graduation plans.
With help from the community and donors like yourself, we aim to offer as many scholarships as possible and continue to be pioneers in the mental health education space.
We are taking the beginning steps to start a separate non profit in which we hope to fund and develop programs in schools, as well as fund therapy for students who cannot afford it, and anything in between that may help students struggling with mental health. There are many hoops to jump through before that day comes, so for now, the Lonely Cowboy Community will do its best to continue pushing and normalizing the mental health conversation through our scholarships.
Our first scholarships will be offered to and sponsored by these schools/tattoo artists:
East Aurora High School - Payton DiGangi
San Pasqual High School - Cat James
Benito Juarez High School - Cate Cen
Holland High School - Audrey Kacel
Foothill Technology High School - Annabelle Warren
The School of Arts and Enterprise - Ashlyn Workman
Holton High School - Sera Alana
Provo High School - Hannah Matthews
For every tattoo artist collaboration we do, we offer another scholarship in a different high school.
Personal Anecdote - I have struggled with mental health battles my whole life, particularly in high school. I deeply understand how difficult it can be to talk about and overcome. My goal through everything I do with Lonely Cowboy, these scholarships, and eventually my nonprofit, is to make sure kids understand they are not alone and it is okay to ask for help.
I cannot thank you enough for supporting Lonely Cowboy and everything we aim to do with our scholarship fund. To follow along our journey as a company, follow @lonelycowboyco on IG - be on the lookout for our nonprofit coming soon, hopefully operating by fall of 2023.
Much love - Kellan, Owner of Lonely Cowboy Company LLC
