On Friday, March 22 Long Beach Post and Business Journal CEO Melissa Evans began making calls to Long Beach Post workers telling them they've been laid off.

These layoffs come as workers are demanding union recognition to protect their jobs and continue to cover the Long Beach community.

As the workers of the Long Beach Media Guild continue to fight against these illegal and retaliatory layoffs and for the future of news in Long Beach, they need your help.

Donate to the Long Beach Media Guild Relief Fund to help laid-off workers cover their housing, food, medicine, and other necessary bills.

All money raised through this fund will be divided up fairly and equitably, to help laid off and striking workers cover housing, food, medicine and other necessary costs.
