Corey’s life was insured however to all of his friends and supporters that are contacting the family in regards on how they can help out the family, this would be the best way. 

Corey Lamar Brown Jr, theres a lot of positive things we can say about this wonderful man. Whether you knew Corey for 10 years or 10 minutes, he made an impact in your life. He was very spiritual, uplifting, and an all around positive person. When you sit back and think of memories with him you can't help but laugh or smile and that's how we should remember his warm spirit. Corey risked his life to save another's and that alone will tell you how noble he was. Although Corey is no longer here with us physically, he is surrounding us spiritually.  Corey would tell everyone he encountered to just "live your life". Corey did not dwell on negativity and was always looking to elevate in any way possible. When you think of this man, you must also try to think like him. Corey did anything in his power for the people he cared about not just family and now I feel it is our turn to return the favor for his family. I know Corey would appreciate it. If you knew Corey or if you can relate to this man in any way, please think about his family and what they are going through at a time like this. Corey was a hero too many of us before this tragedy and he will forever remain a hero in our hearts. Long Live Corey "Qwip" Brown Jr, may his soul be at peace and may he never be forgotten.
