LONG LIVE ELIJAH WILRIDGE

Elijah was a great young man with a bright future he was loved by so many and is truly missed.
He had just enrolled in college to play football, a true passion of his. Elijah began playing football at the age of 5 and immediately we all saw his potential. He played Pop Warner football as a adolescent ,in that time he grew his skills and knowledge. He went on to play high school varsity football at Arrowhead Christian Academy School.
His skills on the field were what set him apart, but the person Elijah was showed in his everyday life he was full of light. He was generous and kind, a fun and loving person. Elijah was active in his church community where he played the drums for Sunday worship and volunteered with church activities often.
Elijah made friends where ever he went. He just lit up a room. He never judge anyone and would give to so many. He had special soul. He treated so many of his friends like family and was there through good and bad times to show love and support.
We as his family are devastated by his tragic loss. The love he had for all of us was unmatched.
He was the first born of all the grandchildren, which gave him a very special role not only to his parents but siblings aunts, uncles, cousins and friends a like. Everyone looked up to him, he was our hope for the future. His heart was strong full of love and light, He was a protector always there to lend a hand, give a hug share a laugh.
There are some many wonderful memories of watching him grow into the amazing young man he was. We do not know why he is gone at such a young age but know the great impact he made to everyone he encountered will live on forever. We carry him in our thoughts and most importantly in our hearts. Always blessed. Always Grateful. Forever humbled
