Hello Everyone,
My name is Melissa. I am the daughter of the Ricardo “PADMAN” McGill . It deeply saddens me to announce the loss of my father, which occurred on February 15th, 2019. My family and I are still healing from the loss of my mother Theresa who passed in October of 2016 (my Dad’s sweetheart and wife of 43 years). We now find ourselves here again in a position where we have to say goodbye to Dad this time. His passing has left us devastated, heartbroken, crushed, stunned, listless, and filled with grief beyond words.
My father was absolutely one of the most amazing, charismatic, down to earth, warm hearted, and strongest men you could ever meet. To know him was to love him. My father loved his family so much without a doubt. I watched my father change so many people’s lives. I watched how what he loved to do the most, turned into something extraordinary. Boxing was my fathers calling, and no one could ever change that. He loved all his fighters like they were his family. If you ever got a chance to speak to him or work with him, then you knew that he was a special person in and out of the gym.
In closing, I would love to send my father off the proper way. If you knew PADMAN you knew two things. 1) He wasn’t the greatest planner. 2) He thought he was immortal and would live forever. Unfortunately, we find ourselves in a position where we are unprepared to pay for funeral expenses. If you’re able, we’d love if you could donate to help us achieve our goal. Sending our beloved PADMAN off the right way means the world to me right now. Any donations even the smallest amount will help and will forever and always be greatly appreciated.
