Long Live Jonathan Trinity Tran

It is with a heavy heart that we come together to remember and honour the life of our dear friend, lover and brother Jonathan Trinity Tran, who left us all far too soon. Jonathan was a shining light full of energy and unwavering loyalty in the lives of everyone who had the opportunity to experience his warmth, his sudden departure has left a void that will never be filled. We are here to support one another but more importantly, his two sisters that he loved so dearly and his devoted partner as they navigate this unimaginable loss and grief.

We have started this fundraiser to assist the family with the memorial costs, funeral arrangements and the remainder will be used to support his sisters in the continuation of their young lives after his passing. Jonathan would've loved nothing more than to see his sisters receive this support, the way he would’ve helped them if he was still here.

Jonathan was a fearless and selfless leader, quick on his feet with a can-do attitude, a trait that he has passed onto many of his friends and loved ones. Jonathan was extremely proud of his ability to just get it done without fear of failure or repercussions, he truly embodied the idea of living life to the fullest with no regrets.

From an early age, Jonathed had the weight of the world placed upon his shoulders, without a shadow of doubt, he kept his chin up and kept pushing forward. He did not shy away from the pressure but instead embraced it, forging diamonds of hope, guidance and love for himself, his sisters and those who shared a bond with him. With each challenge and obstacle that came his way, he would smile, put his head down and push through it. There truly was never a moment that he gave up.

Despite Jonathan not being here with us in the physical realm, his legacy will live on until the day his name is forgotten, so long as we are around, so long as we continue to celebrate his life, this will be for an eternity

Update: Thanks again everyone for your overwhelming support of Jonathan and His family. 

Funeral Arrangements have been finalised. There will be a Buddhist ceremony in the morning (12/11/23) followed by a procession from the funeral home passing by grandmas house as well as the family home on the way to Boyd Chapel in Springvale (12:30pm for the service) where Jonathan’s journey here on Earth will conclude. May he rest in eternal peace. 

Update: Thank you everyone for their support and attending the service to send Jonathan off. It was a bloody good send off and Jono would’ve been so happy with how it all turned out.
