Long Live The Bier Stube

That's all I'm asking.

The Bier Stube is a landmark of Columbus and OSU culture, and it is being ripped away from us, like so many others have.

There is nothing we can do about that.

But what we CAN do, is raise funds to help Craig Kempton and The Stube "vibe" to relocate elsewhere, and build a new tradition and community-a place for the good people of Columbus to remember and cherish The Bier Stube for what it once was, and always will be (at heart ❤️).

Ohio Stadium, or "The Shoe", has a listed capacity of a little over 102,000.

Average listed price for a ticket is.. well,a lot more than $5.

If every attendee at the Stadium donated $5 to the Stube Fund, that's around $510,000.

If every person who came in from out of town for a game day, but couldn't go to the game, and so came to the Stube to watch/hang out/reminisce/just be in the atmosphere- if each of them gave $5... who even knows what the math is on that one.

The Bier Stube, as in the building, will be gone. This is a hard fact.

But the Stube, as a family, a community, as an atmosphere and a tradition, can (and should) live on.

The Stube couldn't be saved.
