Long road to recovery please help her if you can

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hi my name is Gemini and on November 28th at approximately 12:30 am my Daugther Ahmiaha was driving from work on lake city way when her car had a malfunction causing her spin out of control and crash. She was trapped under the steering wheel in the vehicle and Fire department had to cut her out from the roof of the vehicle in which she suffered multiple serious life altering injuries

Her C5 vertebrae in her neck was broken as well as 2 injuries to her spine, a serious Head injury , multiple broken bones to her leg and ankle, Hip injury and numerous lacerations to her face and chin. She has so far had 2 operations in which her C5 was removed and replaced with metal plates and rods in her spine, and well as orthopedic surgery to repair the broken bones throughout her leg and ankle.

The doctors expect a very long recovery as she will be completely non weight bearing and due to the extent of her injuries she will have to learn to walk again thru physical therapy . There is a high probability she will need more surgery as her Hip was also injured

 

This is especially hard on us as a family. She has a 9 year old son named Daiveon. She lives on her own and will not be able to return to work for awhile.

 

I am asking anyone reading this to help my daughter during this hardship to keep her from losing what she has , the holidays are here she won't be able to do anything for or with her son . I am hoping to raise money to help cover cost of living her rent, bills, food for the next few months until we can figure out something in additional to medical needs that medical care will not cover such as cost of transportation to and from aftercare and physical therapy appointments, portable potty chair, shower sliding stool personal hygiene and toiletries and other personal care items to keep her comfortable during this difficult time.

Any form of help is appreciated.

She is gonna be in the hospital for a while and has a long recovery ahead of her.
