Long Sutton St Mary's Church needs your help...

Our beautiful Church needs your help... The church was built in 1170 by Cluniac Monks and is an active part of the community today with all Church services as well as festive services throughout the year and our coffee and tea mornings supporting our wonderful town.

St Mary's Church is in need of repairs to our 13th-century lead-covered timber spire standing at 149 feet (45 metres) high. The church is a Grade I listed building. We have Deathwatch beetle and woodworm risking the timber spire. We have all existing wooden ladders that give access from the bell tower into the spire, that all need replacing as well as electrical work that needs to be undertaken.

We are at a point were this magnificent building can still be saved but we need everyone's help. Please help our Church, God Bless you all. Amen
