Long time locals displaced by Hurricane Ian

Hi, my name Is Lindsey Van Cleve and along with Robyn Stites we are creating this fund for our long time friends and locals of Ft. Myers Beach. We all have been friends over 20 years and all have lived on FMB or S. Ft. Myers for over 30 years.

Jen and Andi Scott are sisters that lost their home, vehicles and jobs due to the Category 4 Hurricane Ian. The surge destroyed everything. To add salt to the wound, their parent’s home and the home they grew up in on FMB was destroyed and taken over in mold since the families couldn’t go on the beach for so long.

Jen and Andis Scott are long time residents of Fort Myer’s Beach. Anyone that knows these sisters knows that they are kind, selfless and care very much about the environment and try to make the world a better place. They treat those as they want to be treated . These sisters and their parents have helped throughout the years by helping Captains of Clean Water, beach nourishments and participating in local and resort fundraising. Andi has been in hospitality for over 20 years on FMB and Sanibel. She helps manage some of the resorts people come to over and over again.

They are strong and putting one foot in front of the other but it takes a village and it takes money and FEMA has been of limited assistance. This money will be used towards new housing , basic need furnishings and vehicles since everything was lost in the surge.

Please donate any amount you can spare and please share to help a local family. I will give this money to them directly. Robyn Stites is currently housing them even though her home and vehicles were in the surge. Her home was livable though and the drywall has been gutted. Ian made history and a donation can be your way to help.
