Longest Day Golf Challenge for Little Lauryn
Donation protected
Hi folks,
Thank you for taking the time to check out our Go Fund Me Page.
On Friday the 24th of June 2022, a group of us have challenged ourselves to complete the Longest Day Golf Challenge for a special little girl called Lauryn.
For anyone who is unsure what this involves, it’s each of us attempting to complete 4 rounds of golf all on the same day, on the same course. Our first team to play will be teeing off at sunlight and our last team to finish should be finishing by sundown. Or we can say it will involve us playing 72 holes each, walking around 20 miles each in distance and together playing a lot of bad golf. Regardless it’s all to help raise funds and much needed awareness for Lauryn and her journey.
Lauryn is a 6 year old little girl who stays in Kingseat, Newmachar, Aberdeenshire with her Mummy (Carol), her Daddy (Andy – who is also participating) and her little Brother (Ryan) who has just turned 3. She has a form of drug resistant epilepsy also known as severe refractory epilepsy and since 2020 has been on a journey to try and get back a quality of life which she lost in 2019. She has a Facebook Page called Little Lauryn if any of you would like to read her story in full or follow her. Andy and Carol are our friends and we’ve all been following Lauryn’s journey and the change to this little girl is amazing. Without a doubt she’s got back a quality of life and Andy and Carol have got their little girl back.
We know that things are tight for us all just now but if you would like to help us reach our target for Lauryn with a donation no matter the amount or if you can’t by just sharing our page and Little Lauryn’s Facebook page, we would be so grateful.
Thanks again,
