Rohan S. Brown was a proud student at the University of Albany with a promising future as he studied diligently to become a Lawyer. Before the start of his senior year in 2008, 26-year-old Rohan went missing without a trace leaving family and friends torn with unanswered questions. 12 years later, on July 9, 2020 Rohan’s’ mother, Grace Skinner, was contacted by local police with what she hoped was good news. Instead she was informed that the vehicle of her only child was pulled from the Hudson River with his remains inside. The details surrounding this case do not align. It was reported that his disappearance occurred after police attempted to pull him over for what they called a routine traffic stop in New Paltz, NY on the night of Aug. 6, 2008. The very next day, Rohan was stopped again by police in the same location. The car was found ticketed and abandoned on the property of Albany University in Albany, NY (where security says the surveillance system was inoperable) but was pulled from the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, NY. Rohan has a strong supportive community of people who are desperate for a thorough investigation, an accurate autopsy, and for the TRUTH behind this case of which we clearly suspect foul play. Brown character: With his optimistic life views, charming personality, and warm smile Rohan was never known to have an enemy or to ever be involved with illegal activities. Rohan had the undying support of his loving mother, Grace Skinner, and neighborhood friends. He loved soccer and music and occasionally listening to the speeches of Martin Luther King Jr. His favorite quote was “Life is 10% what happens, and 90% how you react” He had a sense of humor and will be remember by many as a “fun-loving guy”.
