Long-term disabled resident needs a new roof
Donation protected
Hello ~ We are fundraising to get a new roof on a home in the Inez Neighborhood. Our resident-in-need has lived here for over 40 years. He has not been mentally able to care for himself or his home in all that time. Now his roof is on the verge of becoming a disaster. Many shingles are missing, and leaks have developed in several rooms when it rains or snows. A licensed roofer told us that missing shingles can be replaced and the leaks stopped, but it will need a new roof shortly.
We are the members of the Board of Directors of the Inez Neighborhood Association. We feel it's important to let neighbors and friends know how much their contributions will help our long-time resident, with the assistance of his caregiver, to live there his remaining years.
First, when initial funds are received, we will have the roof patched so that major leaks are stopped for this winter. Second, when major funds are received, we will have the entire home re-roofed next spring.
Thank you for opening your hearts and wallets to bring the home of our resident-in-need closer to our accustomed standard of living. If 1,000 people each give $17, we would reach our goal of $17,500 quite soon.
