The Long Walk Adventure Start Goal

The Who
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, 

My name is Sean Ross and I am the project lead to The Long Walk Adventure. 


The What Now?
The Long Walk Adventure has been a dream for several years now, a dream to create a culturally and ecologically educational video series centered around the amazing diversity that makes up the entirety of the people in our world. We will be starting in the U.S. and with luck moving onto Canada and Mexico, and hopefully the rest of the world too!





The Why
We are raising money now to get the plans we have been working on for years up off the ground. In order to provide you, our awesome fans both current and prospective, with everything you could ever want from a show like ours, we need the proper gear. This would include a safety vehicle, food,  and other essential supplies for walking across the United States.




The Mission
You might be wondering why we would do all of this. The answer couldn't be simpler. Having seen so much in this world and having met an incredible number of wonderfully diverse people, I believe that the greatest wonder in the world is the people who live in it. What I have learned in my travels is that people everywhere have preconceptions about people from anywhere else. Sometimes these are innocent and fun, but sometimes they can be very harmful.



Violence and ignorance against a culture, any culture in the world, is perpetuated by the mainstream media companies that primarily serve as our informative outlet about the rest of the world, or even your neighbors. I believe that it is a truly worthy task to open those perpetuated barriers and let everyone see for themselves from an involved, immersive perspective as we traverse the continent meeting and experiencing the lives of the people we meet. 

The Environment
Truly, there is so much natural beauty in our world, just as much as there is cultural beauty. Our mission is twofold. We want to highlight and teach of the wonders of human culture, but also about the various ecologies that surround us. We depend on this beautiful planet to sustain us in so many ways. Each culture has adapted to its environment, growing around it in so many spectacular ways, and influenced those environments equally, if not more so than those environments shaped the cultures themselves. We want to shed light on not just the beauty in the world, but also how we as a species are impacting the world we live in. 

Wrapping things up
We get how hard money is to obtain and we understand how hard you have worked for every penny. That is why we can't thank you enough for even considering funding our cause. Currently, prints are available for sale of the photography taken so far during scouting trips and conditioning walks. We are working out how to send complimentary prints to funding donations of $100 or above. You can also buy prints directly from our Redbubble site here! Your purchase will directly assist in our efforts to raise money, and you can obtain a variety of prints on many different kinds of material.
