Lonnie's Medical and Travel Expenses

On May 21st we received some devastating news about my fifty-six-year-old son-in-law Lonnie. We found out he has liver cancer. He is not an eligible candidate for a liver transplant due to the location and spread of cancer within his body. He has not been able to work, he has been hospitalized three times due to bleeding in his esophagus and stomach. He is not able to eat enough to get any strength to start any type of cancer treatment.

On June 30th he started to vomit blood and was rushed to the hospital once again causing him to become admitted there. During this scare, it brought his vitals down so low that if he hadn’t gone to the hospital when he did, Lonnie would’ve lost his life.

This has caused financial hardship for Lonnie and my daughter because of the medical, travel, and special dietary expenses. This is very devastating for the family. They have been together for thirty-eight years and have been married to one another for almost thirty-six years. I have seen over the years that this is truly the man that is my daughter’s soulmate. For her to lose him would be the most heartbreaking experience in her life.
