Looking after our community

For the last week some of you may know we have been offering FREE food (Soup & Pizza, or Soup & Pasta) to anyone who needs it completely free of charge.

It is intended for elderly, the vulnerable, the isolated, schoolchildren and essential staff (e.g. NHS, Police & Fire Brigade).  They can phone 0141 [phone redacted], email [email redacted] or just come along and ask. 

Our restaurant is closed and up until now we have been successfully feeding around 500 people a day at a cost of £1500 for raw materials to our business each day, this has only been possible thanks to our team of volunteers and those of you offering to give up your time to support our endeavours.

We have had lots of lovely feedback and would like to continue to feed 500 people per day over this 21 day lockdown period but we need your help. Lots of people have asked how they can donate to this and we have decided to set up this Go Fund Me page to make it easy for people to support.

100% of whatever we raise will go to 'raw materials', (food costs and packaging).  A donation of £3 will allow us to provide a 'Soup & Pizza' or 'Soup & Pasta' for one person and our target is to continue to feed 500 people per day who need it most in our community for the next 21 days.

We expect people will pick up food for their neighbours and relatives.

We are  only using your funds to buy raw materials and packaging and to pay staff.

When we are  receiving donations of foodstuffs like lovely chocolates we  are putting these on our bar top so that people can help themselves on the way out.
