Our angel, Lopati "Paki" Keil Jr, was tragically taken away from us on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022.
He was a true patriarch of happiness and joy was second nature to him. He frequently donated his time to his community and was the most caring person you will ever meet. He serviced the homeless by helping feed them on early Saturday mornings. He would visit the elderly and pray with them. He claimed many of his friends and families grandparents as his own!
Paki loved life. If you ever heard his laugh you would never forget it. If you met Paki you weren't greeted with a handshake but instead you were greeted with a hug.
He enjoyed gardening and volleyball. He enjoyed making peanut butter cookies while eating strawberries, making smoothies and listening to music from the 1950's and 1960's. Oldies and goodies fit his soul perfect. Fleetwood Mac was one of his all time favorites. He would love to take long bike rides on the trails on Sunday mornings while mom and dad slept in. Hiking was also a passion of his.
He embraced his Samoan culture while walking around the house learning to play his ukulele while driving mom and dad crazy! He was fluent in Samoan, Spanish and English and loved to order food in his different languages. Watching him attempt to roll his "R's" while doing his Spanish homework was a total riot! His lowest GPA ever was 3.833 even while taking all advanced classes from 6th grade on. He joined the NAVY ROTC his Freshman year and loved the discipline of the military. He had ambition to be a heart surgeon and was preparing to enter pre-medicine at the BYU campus in Hawaii.
We miss him and will love him for eternity.
