Lopon Tulku's -fight to get kidneys

Hi, our dear Lopon Tulkula has been diagnosed with failure of both kidneys and needs a kidney transplant as soon as possible. Inspired by his courage and commitment, we are reaching out to everyone we know and seeking the generosity of strangers to help him with this fight.

Loponla is only 39 years old and has worked tirelessly in remote villages in Nepal to help spread word of dharma and benefit others.

We would like to share below a letter of appeal from Loponla.

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Tsepri Lopan Tulku Ngawang Chokdup. I am 39 years old now. Since year 2020 i have been going through a health complication with kidney failure as the main contributory factor. The doctors have diagnosed chronic kidney disease (CKD) where both of my kidneys does not function well. I was hospitalized for a longtime in the Nepal Medicity Hospital and later discharged. I have been going through dialyses three times a week for the past many months. And i need to be rushed to hospital often for critical care with breathing difficulty. Now the doctors have recognized that i have to go through a kidney transplant with the recommendation that i should do it before it gets too late. My health is deteriorating every week and losing weight pretty fast. The medical expenditure so far has been huge and still i need at least Nepali 70,0000 (in words seven million ) rupees for the kidney transplant and financially don't have enough resources to go ahead. Therefore, i am compelled to forward this financial donation request to you, and to other kind people to contribute whatever amount you can for my medication.

If a day comes in the future that i can get well to live longer, i always would be indebted to your kind action. I will pray to the three jewels that i will put this precious human birth for the benefit of others and for the practice and preservation of Dharma as i have been trying to do so far as much as i can. Thank You !
