Loren Kroll is a senior at Montague High School. On Monday morning, January 25th, Loren Kroll was injured while getting ready to board the school bus. She was struck by a truck which had a plow on it. Loren was taken by ambulance to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon and then later airlifted to Butterworth Hospital. Loren spent most of the day in surgery yesterday and is returning to surgery Tuesday January 26th. Her injuries are extensive and the family still doesn't know the full scale of how this will impact Loren and her future. She has a mangled pelvis, her leg is broken in numerous spots, her arm is broken in numerous spots and she has internal injuries that they will be focusing on today in surgery. Loren has an extremely long road ahead of her with more surgeries to come. Right now the immediate needs of the family are gas and meal expenses traveling back and forth to GR and loss of income while Loren is in critical condition.
Many know Loren as a sweet girl who is always smiling. She has worked as a teachers helper in many of our younger children's classes over the last 2 years. Now is the time to come together as a community and support this family after such a tragic accident. Please pray for Loren and her family. Pray for wisdom for the team of doctors, specialists, and rehabilition staff and especially for her family as they support her during this very scary and uncertain time as they are expecting a very difficult road to recovery. All money donated goes directly to the Kroll family and is managed by them.
