Loreto (Lito) Corona

Our family is heartbroken and devastated of the sudden and unexpected loss of Loreto (Lito) Corona. On Friday, February 3, 2023, Lito suffered a sudden cardiac arrest, and tragically lost his life.

Lito came to Canada from the Philippines in September 2022. He arrived with his wife, Minda, and daughter, Mabel, to visit his eldest daughter, Melody and her husband, John. He enjoyed being a tourist around the city and experiencing the different Canadian seasons, regularly enjoying walks around the neighbourhood.

Lito just celebrated his big milestone 60th birthday on January 28, 2023, just short of a week before his passing.

With this GoFundMe page, any generous donations will help relieve the family of some of the financial burden that comes along with planning a funeral. It will also help the Corona family bring his body back home to the Philippines, where he will eternally rest.
