Lori Ann Barnett passed on Tuesday, December 15 after a challenging battle with COVID-19. Lori was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was only 43 years old.
Lori tested positive for COVID-19 on November 16 and was hospitalized on November 17. She was placed on a ventilator on November 29. In December, Lori was transferred to a larger hospital in Denver, Colorado, where she could receive a higher level of care. Unfortunately, even that heightened level of care was not enough to allow Lori's body to heal. She passed at the hospital in Denver on Tuesday, December 15.
Because Lori's family lost her far too soon, we are raising money to help ease the financial burden of funeral costs. Funeral expenses plus GoFundMe fees are estimated to be around $14,500. Any excess money raised will be provided to Lori's husband and daughter to defray other expenses that have arisen during Lori's hospitalization.
