Lori Bitner’s Surgery and Bills

Hi! I’m Amanda Oswald, Lori Bitner’s daughter. And I’m raising money to help my mom get her surgery that she so desperately needs.

Lori needs spinal fusion surgery in her lower back and in her neck. Unfortunately, she is between insurances and isn’t in a position to get insurance on her own. Because she’s in the middle of the disability process and Medicaid, self-pay insurance is her only option and she’s without income due to her medical condition.

Sadly, her ability to do normal day-to-day life, including walking is almost non-existent. Everyday she’s in incredible pain and stress. She has 30 days to rectify her insurance before she’s taken off the surgery list all together. All the while, she’s acquiring thousands of dollars in debt due to all of her medical bills.

For those that know her, know that she would give her last dollar to anyone who needs it. She is always finding the silver linings in even the most dire situations. She’s easy to laugh, easy to love, and she loves deeply.

I’m asking for your help so my mom can regain her mobility and love of life. So she can walk outside without pain and find peace, comfort, and find her spunky attitude again!
