Lori Blankenship’s Healing Heroes

The reason we are here:
My mom has been getting dizzy for the last several weeks. She went to the walk in a couple weeks ago and we thought it was just allergies, an ear infection, and vertigo.  They ordered a cat scan of her head and it came back clear but advised to get an MRI. The following Monday she was worse and went to Champaign ER. There she stayed for 4 days. They did an MRI and found two tumors.  They are too deep to do a biopsy so they have ordered a full body cat scan which we did today to see if there is any other cancer in her body.  If the scans are clear, she will have three radiation treatments to break up the tumors.   If you know my mom, you know that she wouldn’t ask anyone for anything. She is a natural doer...not a taker. Several of her friends reached out to me and asked me to start this for her. One of her friends put it to us this way: “her friends and family WANT to help...they WANT to know that they have had a part in her recovery....they WANT her to be able to rest and not worry about the medical bills that will not be covered by insurance.”  
I will do my best to keep everyone informed with updates. 

Please know that my mom ONLY wants prayers. She loves and whole heartedly believes in her “prayer warriors” and those don’t cost anything so please do not feel obligated in anyway of donating. Just sendpositive thoughts and prayers her way ❤️
