Lori Bravo's Cancer Campaign

Hello to all my family and friends!! I am trying to raise money for my medical expenses due to my stage 4 cancer diagnosis. I have co-pays that are beyond what I will ever, ever be able to pay. For example, my surgery on December 15th co-pay is $2955, I have had three scans each have a &200 co-pay which for the next year, I will need more scans. I will need two more surgeries--one to place a port to receive chemo and second to reverse colostomy procedure. My health insurance is $250 a month so I don't lose my benefits. And not to mention every doc appointment is $50 co-pay. I have oncologist, colorectal surgeon, and liver specialist. This does not even include the expense of chemo, which I don't even know yet that expense, or expenses of daily living. Also, in January--my deductible of $3000 starts all over again!! I have a really stuff journey ahead, and I want to kick cancer's ass, but I need my stress level stable so that I can put all my focus on my health not finances. This is why I placed my mother in an ALF because I could no longer focus on taking care of her so I can keep the focus on myself. My 24yo son, Danilo, graduates from USF on December 9th and I still have so much more mothering in me--his future wedding--my future grandchildren--I want to live so that I can become a mother-in-law and a grandmother. I want to live so I can become an advocate to others why getting a colonoscopy at 50yo is so damn important. Had I had a colonoscopy at 50yo, I would have caught this at the beginning not at stage 4 having cancer traveling to my liver. God told me when I get to the other side of this, I can become the voice of why it is so important to get the colonoscopy. Listen, I know it's a lot to ask to give especially at this time of the year, but the smallest of donations adds up. I have been embarrassed to even go this route, but at the end of the day, this is my life and I WANT TO LIVE!!
