Lori Czerniec Memorial Fundraiser

Donation protected
Our little sister, Lori, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the age of 55, after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). When Lori was first diagnosed with AML, she was forced to quit working. Her hematologist told her the treatment she would receive would be so extensive she wouldn't be able to work. She would have to rely on disability pay and Medicaid/Badgercare for income and medical coverage.

Last week, when Lori was getting progressively worse, she started looking into funeral and burial costs. After learning how expensive these services were, Lori opted to forego a traditional Catholic funeral service for cremation only. In addition, she did not want friends and family to take time off work, or have to drive far to memorialize her. Lori requested to have her ashes laid to rest next to our father at All Saints Cemetery in Kenosha.

Many friends and family have been asking how they can help, and where they can send donations. We started this memorial fund for those who want to contribute to Lori's funeral expenses. We appreciate all the love and support we have received from friends during this difficult time and thank you for remembering her. ♥️
