Lori D’Angelo’s Breast Cancer Treatment Expenses

My sister, Lori D’Angelo has been quietly fighting Stage 2b Invasive Ductal Carcinoma since January 2023. She was diagnosed at just 40 years old. She is a married mother of two beautiful young girls, ages 6 and 8. She never expected to be faced with a health crisis of this magnitude at such a young age. She is a self employed healthcare designer, and while she is blessed with good health insurance, her treatments and the travel are beginning to take a financial toll. She is seeking care at MD Anderson in Houston because at her initial diagnosis the staging was thought to be stage 1b, however after traveling to MD Anderson for a second opinion it was found to be more advanced. For this reason she has decided to continue seeking treatment at this more advanced cancer center. Thankfully, she is nearing the end of her chemotherapy treatments but still has a long road ahead. She will be having surgery at MD Anderson in August then will face 6 weeks of radiation. Any and all help is greatly appreciated during this unexpected health crisis.
