Lori Engler Accident Recovery Fund

Hello, My name is Katie Winter and I am friends and colleagues with Juliana Engler. I am unfortunately starting this GoFundMe bc while visiting friends in Pittsburgh, Juliana's sister Lori and her 3 friends were in a horrific car accident- -T-Boned by what is believed to be a drunk driver. Lori was rushed to the hospital with a severe traumatic brain injury in critical condition. Over the last few weeks, Lori has made many tiny steps forward, however she still remains in an uninduced coma. The future and what it looks like is still mostly unknown.

Juliana and her parents are an extremely integral and important part of Lori's recovery. They have moved from New Jersey down to Pittsburgh so they take shifts by Lori's hospital bed, reading to her, telling stories, calling her name to her....anything and everything they can to stimulate her brain's activity and encourage her to wake up. The family has all taken a step back from their jobs in order to give Lori every shot she has to wake up and fully recover from this tragedy.

I have started this GoFundMe to at the very least take away some of the financial stress of this horrible nightmare. The donations we raise will help take away some of the financial stress for Stephen, Tina and Juliana while not working as they focus of helping Lori.
