Lori Frey

Hello friends and family. As you know my mother Lori Frey passed on 11/7/2023 with her husband Ike at her side. Lori was under the compassionate care of hospice for the weeks leading up to her passing. Many people have asked how they can help during this time, and it was in response that we have created this GoFundMe for people that would like to help with the expenses of the funeral.

Lori had been fighting her battle with lung cancer for the last three years, but this was just the most recent of her health battles. Cancer treatment robbed her of quality of life while the burden it placed on my parents financially, physically, and emotionally was extremely hard to watch. Earlier this year my dad made the hard decision to quit working to stay home and care for her.

My father now finds himself alone after 47 years of marriage and it is heartbreaking to see.

The family has opted for a small luncheon service on Friday the 24th 1-3pm Rice Lake Baptist Church, 10793 S Spruce Ave, Grant, MI 49327
