Lori Tollefson

On Tuesday Dec 11, Lori was flown by Mercy Flight from Chester to Great Falls.  She had decided after not feeling well for a long period of time that she would finally go to the doctor.  Anyone who knows Lori, knows that is an alarming thing.  After doing some tests they found her heart rate was running from 160- 180/ min.  And decided to send her to Benefis.  The doctors in Benefis felt she needed to be flown not taken by ambulance.  After getting down there and more tests taken they found her gallbladder was inflamed.  This has been going on quite awhile and has caused infection throughout her body.  They are going to drain her gallbladder, and after antibiotics they will eventually take it out.  Her heart is in atrial fibrillation, which is not allowing the blood to flow to all her organs.  Causing them to start shutting down.  Her kidneys have shut down, they are concerned that her liver will shut down next.  This is going to be a long recovery, once they can get everything to start functioning again.

Lori retired as the North Star Elementary head cook the end of the 2017-2018 school year.  She is loved by so many people, and she loves so many people.  
Lori is my aunt, my kids have practically been raised by her when they weren't with my parents.   She is a very special person, and need help with all the medical bills that are accruing.  So if you can possibly help her out at all, I know she would be so very grateful.
