Lori Weber's continued battle with cancer

Stunt Coordinator, Stuntman, and Aerial Coordinator Rudy Weber and his family need the help of the community once again. To summarize briefly.... Rudy's wife, Lori Weber, had breast cancer in 2015 and had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. In early 2016 she was signed off with a clean bill of health. In November of 2017 Lori had lower back pain that had been getting progressively worse. Lori was admitted to the hospital Thanksgiving evening, an ultrasound was performed which showed lesions on her ribs, pelvis, and spine. After 4 days of tests, MRI's, and a biopsy, she was devestatingly diagnosed with STAGE 4 bone cancer. Lori went through 6 months of chemo treatments after which her bones were cleared of cancer. She then started Immunotherapy. A few weeks into that treatment, standard tests were performed which found cancer had once again re-appeared, this time in her Lymphatic system. Mostly in a 10 Lymph nodes located in her neck, spine, and lower back area. She was put on a localized form of chemo to attempt to treat the lymph nodes and after 5 months of that, tests showed it wasn't working. Doctors recommended trying a new trial drug that had shown to have a significant amount of success in other cancer patients, so the Weber family agreed to give it a shot. In preparation to start the trial drug, Lori had to get a CT scan and a brain MRI... Once again the Weber family received heart-breaking news. Cancer had spread to Lori's brain in several spots, thus preventing them from starting the trial drug.
This brings us to today, Valentines Day. Rudy and Lori had a romantic day together at the Florida Cancer Center. Lori received a CT Scan and she was fitted with a mesh face mask that secures her head to the table. This is to immobilize her head during the brain radiation which she will receive everyday for the next three weeks! Then it's back to chemo and hopefully the trial drug to try and fix her lymph nodes.
Needless to say the Weber family has been going through a lot, but the bills just keep adding up. In between Lori's Chemo treatments, Rudy has been hustling and trying to work as much as possible in Atlanta with stunts and aerial/helicopter work. But it's an 8 hour drive each way to Tampa where Lori is along with their 10 and 12 year old children, and all their cancer doctors. Lori is fighting hard and does the best she can with parental responsibilities, but she has been on percocet and oxycontoned for pain daily for the last year and a half just to get through her day. She is also trying CBD oil and other natural alternatives. At this stage it's nearly impossible for Rudy to leave for work to make the money necessary to support a family, never mind endless, inanely expensive medical bills. The Weber family is physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially drained and could really use our generosity, kind words, and support as they fight through this. Please donate if possible, even if it's a few bucks and help share this page. I know the Weber family will greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
