In May 2012 my beautiful Mother was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma. She had major surgery to remove the grapefruit sized tumor that was within her chest wall, also losing part of her lung. She then went through radiation and chemo in hopes to stay in remission. However, in December 2015 they found another tumor also within her chest wall. Again resulting in surgery where the tumor was removed along with a section of her ribs. She again had radiation as her doctor didn't suggest chemo this time around. Then in December 2016 her routine scan showed two new tumors. Doctors are refusing to do surgery, she tried a chemo drug that had her feeling miserable and sick, and now will be starting back on aggressive chemotherapy by suggestion of her Oncologist. We are asking for prayers and any financial help as these procedures, drugs, & therapies are costly, even after insurance. Also, she will be missing work because of this aggressive chemo that will keep her in the hospital for four days each session. We are also looking into more holistic, alternative treatments/therapies that insurance usually doesn't cover. Any and all help is very much appreciated. Thank you.
