Lorraine's Post-Evicton Juke-a-Thon

Salutations, party people. My name is Lorraine, and my Chicago style struggle has now become too much to bear alone.
 
After careful consideration and at the insistence of selected mutuals, I have decided to finally establish a formal campaign here. I have been deathly afraid of doing so primarily because I didn't want my family and long-time friends finding out. 

I have been between jobs since November 2018 and as of this past March between addresses. More recent events have indicated that we have to move again, although most landlords frown upon renting to recent evictees (regardless of family size).

I humbly ask for your assistance in securing funds for relocation and moving expenses - I am expected to vacate my current (temporary) residence very soon. These funds will enable me to have rent plus two months' security - which will likely pay for a room as opposed to a full apartment.


Please rest assured that no amount is too large OR too small. If unable to donate, please feel free to boost this campaign as far and wide as your internet/social networks will carry you.
