Lorraine’s Recovery
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Elijah Rutter. On January 27th my mother Lorraine Rutter was in an accident at Switchback while riding her dirtbike. She was taken by ambulance to Butler Hospital where she received x-rays and then was rushed to Allegheny General Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery.
She suffered broken T4-T7 vertebrae, several broken ribs, and a severe hematoma on her sternum. She has no feeling in her legs and up through her chest. We remain hopeful that in time with rehabilition and faith she will be able to regain the ability to walk.
First off I want to thank those that have already donated from the bottom of our hearts. We cannot say thank you enough. All the kind messages and cards means so much as well. It’s difficult to process everything that’s going on, and everything that needs to be done to accommodate her. Remodeling that needs done on her house as well as a vehicle that she is able to drive as she plans on going back to work when she feels ready. We have done extremely well over the past couple days and I am so grateful. If you are able to donate it would be greatly appreciated, no matter the amount. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. Thank you everyone!
