Los Cabos Animal Sanctuary and Pet Hotel

Hi Everyone! My name is Amber. I am a

Canadian mother of 3 beautiful kids and I’m

also an expat living in Los Cabos Mexico. On top of working as a real estate agent I am also a passionate animal rescuer… and here in Mexico there are far too many animals on the streets. After many years of dreaming about this project I have taken a huge personal risk and purchased a perfect parcel of land to create an amazing self sustaining project with an incredible partner. Dr Jorge Bravo is a 35 year Veteranarian and in my humble opinion the best vet in Los Cabos. Dr Jorge’s passion for animals extends far outside his practice and onto the streets to even the most unlikely patients. Our plan is to build a beautiful sanctuary that will house at least 20 senior or terminal pets who would otherwise be put down and not have any chance of adoption. Here in Los Cabos there are simply too many worthy souls for the amount of people willing to give them a loving home. We are not oblivious to the fact that this project must be able to sustain itself… and therefore we created a business model where we plan to open a beautiful boutique hotel for dogs and cats that will be able to support our charity sanctuary project. We will divide the land in half to create half sanctuary and half hotel. As well Dr Bravo will have a veterinary office on site and will provide both paid services to his patients as well as free services to all of our sanctuary animals and in addition…free spay, neuter and rabies vaccines to any and all street animals who are in need. We have a plan to document these animals and to help them find loving homes. This is where YOU come in….. the truth is that I spent every penny of my savings to buy this land. We require funds to build this magical place. We need to rebuild this existing structure into the hotel. As well we must build at least 20 outdoor dog kennels for all of our rescues, we also need a secure wall around the property. This place needs to be absolutely beautiful…. Because thats what these animals deserve. If you can help us, these animals will be truly grateful and so will we!
