Los Rios Rancho Packing Shed fire in Oak Glen

https://losriosrancho.com/
Our community lost the beloved Los Rios Rancho Packing Shed in Oak Glen California today. After weeks of scares and evacuations caused by the recent Apple and El Dorado Fires, a structure fire started overnight on October 2nd and reduced this historic building to ashes. The community is devastated.
The Los Rios Rancho Packing Shed has been a working apple shed since 1906. It has been host to weddings, family holiday events, and apple season u-picking. Families for years have ventured up the mountain to enjoy the wonderful BBQ, freshly baked pies, beautiful nature trails, seasonal fruit, cider pressing, and country dances.
Apple Season is here! There are apples ready to pick, and with over 100 employees, Los Rios does not want to close for the season.
Donations will help this wonderful family-owned and operated business with the immediate requirements to clean up and get their employees back to work, cover insurance gaps, and put the pieces back together while they rebuild the Packing Shed.
My name is Tina Skousen and I am acting on behalf of the Riley family and with their permission. My sister is married to Thad Riley. Thad's brother Devon and his wife Shelli own and operate Los Rios Rancho with their children. All funds raised will go into a special account only for fire recovery and will be given directly to the family.
