Remember Hudson

Hi my name is Dan, me and my partner Laura are currently going through the trauma of a stillbirth we are looking to raise as much money as we can to help maternity wards within NHS England to help families with stillbirth and the loss of a child, also helping charities within this sector where we can.

 

Our story holds no problems or any complications, in-fact it was a great pregnancy with no sickness, or other issues just a really healthy active baby, but just two weeks before our baby boy was due he stopped moving his heart beat was no longer, those words “I’m so sorry” you hear it over and over but it just doesn’t sink in, the pain the heart ache it’s indescribable.

 

We had 5 days with our son, our beautiful baby boy, something that would never cross our mind during the pregnancy would be that our time with our boy would be limited, what we would have done to hear his cry, see his smile, or to see him open his big eyes but we couldn’t, I think what I’m trying to say is until this happens to yourself or a family member you don’t think about stillbirth or the loss of a child, you tend to be too excited and don’t give it a thought.
