Loss of a loved one on New Years Eve

Hello everyone, my good friend Derek lost his live in girlfriend (basically his fiance at this point) on New Years eve... not only is losing a loved one painful, it brings a certain repeating wound when its around a Holiday. Derek and Julie had been together for 6 years and love each other like crazy.

I know a lot of us don't have a ton of money left after Christmas but anything would help. Derek currently works full time and won't have enough to cover their monthly bills since her passing. I'm starting this to see if we can gather a little bit of money to help him out during this rough time of healing and grief.

I'm not really good at this stuff but i'm hopeful anyone would be willing to donate a few dollars here or there.
