Lost house & everything to fire

Our family lost our house and everything we had to the wildfire that burned most of Lahaina town down on 8/8/2023. Our house is completely burned to the ground, only ashes and rubble remain. We also lost our rented business office and many of our customers have also lost their businesses as well. This is a tough new reality where we are scrambling to get by not knowing where the next paycheck will come from.

We are Uli & Neide Okura Kirkegaard, we have lived and worked in Lahaina town for decades and both our children have graduated Lahainaluna High School. We had saved for years and finally bought the house last year - now it is all lost and we know it will be a hard road ahead so any help we can get will be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I humbly ask for donations to help us get back on our feet again and help to rebuild the house. We know that this will be a long process as the entire town has burned down so we need help with getting through this time of crisis. We don't wanna give up, we have hopes for the future of Lahaina town as so we really want to rebuild our house.

Funds raised will help my family directly to get back on our feet and help us rebuild, eventually, what was our beautiful house in Lahaina Town.
