Donation protected
Hi my name is Jaime Lopez, I am the husband and father for the Lothian Crash with my wife and my 2 daughters, a drunk driver hit them about 100 mph, and the vehicle following also impacted my wife car, they were airlifted to 2 hospitals in DC, since Saturday Dec. 17, my wife has broken skull, both legs fractures, broken ribs, puncture lungs, jaw fracture, back injury, she already had 4 surgeries and still really injured. my oldest daughter 15 years old, had intestine damage and a emergency surgery the night that this happened, back surgery, arm surgery and her main vein in the left side of the neck is injured, the brain has blood and they are keeping an eye on it. my little girl 9 years old had, intestine out, broken hip, broken ribs, puncture lung and her main vain that goes from the heart to the legs it was injured, she was also fly to Hopkins in Baltimore. They all have been in intensive care and thanks to God they are alive and off the respirator after one week, but all this injuries will involved several more surgeries and a long process to heal, specially my wife who did not had health insurance. I work as a Safety profesional to make sure people go home every day to their families, I help during the pandemic 9200 families with a local church in DC. I worked with MTBMA safety committee as a Chairman for the last 4 years donating my time to keep workers safe in MD, I just graduated from a seminary to be a pastor to help people. The reason why I was not with my family is because my little girl wanted the room to be white to install her new bed, I painted the room and cooked dinner that night, at 8:09pm I was in FaceTime with my little girl, at 8:20pm they had the crash, by a drunk driver with a long criminal/traffic violations, who didn’t even brake, I had dinner cook for my family that night and they never made it for dinner. I face ahead a long run, and I am very great full with God for preserving my family’s life, all is for his Glory, and I know I will need help, but I never ask for help, I always work and pay for everything, but this time I have been encouraged by people in the school, the police department, social workers, the community and church brothers to ask for help, anything will be greatly appreciate it, I put an amount to get me through the winter, but I know a have a long road way ahead. Not sure how long it will take, but I ask for help, if you don’t have money is ok, pray for my family, God has the control all the time.
