"Lottie Baby" Independent Film

Hello! My name is Bella and I am a student at NYU majoring in film and psychology. I am seeking donations in order to produce my film, "Lottie Baby," set for production in Summer 2025. It is about all things girlhood - specifically female friendships & hardships.

"Lottie Baby" follows Charlotte (Lottie), a senior in high school. She and her best friend, Esha, dream of being a part of the entertainment industry after they graduate. This is highlighted by their love for their small, private-school theater. As a senior, Lottie is set on starring in the play. However, their school cancels the play due to budget cuts. After Lottie and Esha go out of their way to find someone to put on the play, they find a young man who takes on the challenge. The two girls gush over him, jokingly romanticizing him. Their playful imagination turns into a scary reality as Esha notices the teacher's inappropriate behavior towards Lottie.
